@IngeniousEpithet Answer this one for me….Volcanos produce more toxic emissions in a year than modern man could in a 20 year span. Now science has proven that the Earth was once COVERED in volcanos…So why is it now a lush-green paradise?

I can search,”global cooling”, and find 1,000+ articles from the 70′s and 80′s saying man made global cooling was going to doom us. Lies backed by facts I guess?
This reactionary neocon twat oversimplifies sophisticated issues and gets attention for it. 90% of the scientific world agrees that humans are responsible, not only for a larger emission of greenhouse gasses but also for the enlargement of the gap in the ozon layer and massive deforestation wich only increases the amount of carbondioxides in the atmosphere etc. It’s easier and cheaper and above all immoral not to give a fuck about all this, I know, and that’s neocon policy.

They’ve been saying the planet is getting hotter for the last 50 years… as time has gone on, the evidence has only become stronger, as expected. In the scientific world, doubt about AGW essentially ceased in the 70′s. It was the MEDIA that picked up on a study talking about a potential ice-age, but even the man involved with that study stated that it was highly unlikely and that global warming was far more likely a reality. Global warming causes climate change/erratic weather.

Wrong. The whole CRU hacked email fraud was overly exaggerated, cherry-picked, misinterpreted, lying BS. Three separate/independent analyses of the emails concluded that there was ZERO wrongdoing on the part of scientists and that they could only barely be accused of suspicion of FOIA requests (and understandably so) and slight (but not critical) sloppiness. Also… 20 years ago, they were NOT saying the world was getting colder, you’re forwarding lies.

Look at it this way. 20 years ago they said the Earth was getting colder, a sign that humans were destroying the planet. Now they’re saying it’s getting hotter because the effect of humans on the Earth. Thelast 3 years the U.S. has had extreme winter coniditions during odd seasons, which they said was global warming. Odd monopoly don’t you think?

As for record highs… ARE YOU HIGH??? Have you been living in a dreamworld?? The last decade was the HOTTEST DECADE ON RECORD. Ten of the hottest years on record have ALL been within the last 15 years. The temperature has shown an undeniable upward trend globally, and current warming/consequences are actually WORSE than what the IPCC predicted. The IPCC is TOO CONSERVATIVE in many scientists eyes. Your lack of attention to real science is pathetic.

WRONG. Do your fucking homework, troll. There was NO ICE AGE SCARE. Yes, in the MEDIA there was, but in the SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY, they all took it with a huge grain of salt, and EVEN THE SCIENTIST who proposed a “coming ice age” stated that it was quite unlikely and that global warming was more likely. The vast majority of scientists and studies in the 70′s backed up AGW. There are MOUNTAINS of proof for AGW, but keep on propagandizing/lying to people you fucking jackass.
