Yes, and the USA may even join in, if someone can pound some common sense into the Republican party.

If enough countries get together, we could connect a thermostat control to the sun and regulate the climate. It will take a really long copper wire.

Global warming seems to be more of a hoax than anything else. However, even if it wasn’t trying to get all the countries to work together won’t happen because there are two many different priorities among them. China and India, two of the worst, are more interested in growing their economies and pay lip service to environmental controls. Other counties won’t go along with cutting emissions unless everyone else does. Since China and India won’t they won’t either. So you will see more lip service than any real efforts.

EU countries are already making target-by-target progress – as a group – better than anyone else.

Strangely, it’s the biggest countries who cooperate least at summits.
They are the most able to change, but they either all drive hummers or fear losing economic growth.

It’s not too hard

Why would we start now. When haven’t been at each others throats we’ve been stabbing each other in the back

Surely Copenhagen has proven that there is no political will to pursue global warming.
They realize the problem doesn’t exist, but no one is game to be the first to admit it.
So they went away from Copenhagen with no change to the status quo, no plan for future action and with the firm hope that everyone else will forget all about global warming.
See what happens when you talk up a non existent problem.

Even if every country on the planet shut down production of every single factory, business, etc. global warming would continue on it’s merry way. You can’t prevent something that happens naturally can you? The global warming liars want us all be believe and feel guilty so they can justify lightening our wallets by taxing us into the poorhouse.

First blow was the East Anglia CRU emails which showed a pattern of cooking data and “tricking” models and efforts which succeeded in stopping Scientific Peer Review of their work by “Deniers”.

After this blow the UN’s IPCC report began to be taken apart and the various claims began to fall victim to the poor scientific bases and no scientific bases for certain claims.

The Sea Levels Rising by 72 CM – Withdrawn after the authors found 2 fatal errors in the math that made destroyed their claim.

The Himalayan Glaciers melting by 2035 – Withdrawn after it was revealed the bases of this claim came from a Student’s essay and a 2002 magazine article. Further controversy came because the facts came to the attention of the IPCC prior to the Copenhagen conference yet they kept it quite till after the conference.

Global Warming Wiping Out Rain Forest – withdrawn when it was revealed that this was based on assertions of 2 green activist with no scientific background or work done.

Reef being destroyed by Global Warming – Withdrawn when it was revealed that the claim was based soley on the word of Greenpeace.

Weather Station gate –

Russian scientist upon reviewing the hacked emails of East Anglia CRU’s data found that they had left out colder weather stations skewing it by at least half a degree or more.

USA the 1961 data based on 6,000 weather stations yet by 1991 that number is 1,500 with the vast majority left out in colder areas.

China the location of 42 weather stations showing marked climb in temperature is not being revealed. These may be victims of the Heat Island effect from cities, but without locations it is impossible to say.
